SUMMARY:
Arsenal reclaimed top spot on the Premiership ladder with a 4-1 away win against Everton while Manchester United suffered a 2-1 defeat against what surely must be their bogey team, West Ham.
Chelsea are hot on the tails of the Red Devils with a 2-1 win over Newcastle while Liverpool were held nil-all by a gritty Man City side at the Stadium of Light and remain ten points behind the leaders, albeit with a game in hand.
The match of the weekend, however, was Tottenham's amazing 6-4 win over Reading at White Hart Lane where the rugby league like scoreline included four goals from Tottenham striker Dimitar Berbatov.
The visiting Reading held the lead three times in the second half after goals from Kalifa Cisse, Ivar Ingimarsson and a double from Dave Kitson, but Berbatov's strikes were the difference with Steed Malbranque and Jermain Defoe grabbing the others.
A truly amazing game and one which makes the Premier League arguably the most exciting football league in the world.
