Sat 22/4:
Chelsea (Drogba 70') 1 - 2 Liverpool (Riise 21', Garcia 53')
SUMMARY:
The Reds booked their place in the FA cup final in Cardiff on 13th May by beating Chelsea 2 - 1 at Old Trafford.
Uncharacteristic mistakes littered Chelsea's game and Liverpool made them pay with a well deserved victory that did not go down well with Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho whom refused to shake the hand of Liverpool boss Rafael Benitez after the game, as reported in the press.
John Arne Riise gave the Merseysiders a first-half lead with a free-kick which somehow burrowed through Chelsea's defensive wall.
Then Luis Garcia scored a screamer from 20 yards to make it two early in the second half.
Drogba scored Chelsea's only goal.
All in all, a fantastic result for Liverpool and I hope we go on and win the final at Cardiff next month!!
