AFC Fiorentina will be wearing all white on their travels in Italy's Serie A and Europe for the 2008-09 season. The new replica away kit is made from 100% polyester and is finished in white only unlike the 2007-08 away kit that made reference to the club's iconic purple colour.
The logos of kit manufacturer Lotto and the letters of kit sponsors Toyota are finished in red which contrasts quite well with the white of the shirt and shorts.

Italian Serie A side Fiorentina has unveiled a new home kit for the 2008-09 season of Italian and European football.
The Florence based club, known as "i Viola" (the purple ones), will look to build on the success of the 2007-08 season where they finished 4th in the Serie A thus securing a prized UEFA Champions League spot at the expense of AC Milan on the final day of the season.
The 2008-09 home kit features a lighter shade of purple than its predecessor, an 'off' yellow insert around the collar with "ACF Fiorentina" embroidered around the back of the neck and is manufactured by Lotto.
The purple shirt is paired with matching shorts and socks.

Spanish La Liga side Reial Club Deportiu Espanyol de Barcelona, more commonly known as Espanyol, will play out their last season at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys wearing a new commemorative 2008-09 season kit.
Manufactured by Uhlsport, the shirt is finished in the club's traditional blue and white colours and features a logo of the new stadium on the player's left chest. The words "La Forca D'un Sentiment" can be found embroidered on the back of the collar, just above the RCDE embroidery.
Blue shorts and white socks rounds off the rest of the kit.

The new West Ham home kit for 2008-09 is nothing too drastic but offers sharper styling than its predecessor including a faux collar. It does add some contrast to the jersey but whether you like it or not is purely just a matter of taste.
Finished in the club's tradition claret (body) and blue (sleeves) colours, the replica shirt is manufactured by Umbro using 100% polyester. Portsmouth FC has unveiled a new black and gold third kit for the 2008-09 season of English Premier League and UEFA Cup football. Available in two versions - 'elite' and replica - the elite version is the actual shirt that the players wear and is not a replica. Made from a special fabric and Ionx process, the new third kit is designed for maximum comfort and performance.
Manufactured by Canterbury, the shirt utilises a super-lightweight 135gms breathable 4 way stretch performance fabric with Quick Dry properties and a wicking finish to ensure that the pros are Dry and Comfortable and concentrate on the business of winning.

Newly acquired Manchester City has released an exclusive third kit for the 2008-09 season of English Premier League and UEFA Cup football.
Near identical in design to the home kit, the third kit is finished in blaze orange and blue plus very thin yellow stripes. The club crest finds it usual position on the player's left chest with the logo of Le Coq Sportif, the kit manufacturer, on the left.
The blaze orange shirt is paired with navy blue shorts and socks and the kit's main sponsor is ThomasCook.com.
The kit is scheduled to be officially launched on 26th September - great for those wanting the shirt number of Brazilian superstar Robinho who joined the club recently.

Wigan Athletic has unveiled a new fluorescent yellow and black away kit for the 2008-09 English Premier League season.
Made by new kit manufacturers Champion using 100% polyester, the kit isn't as fluorescent as Chelsea's 07/08 away kit but it's still quite 'out there' with its bright colour and modern design with black inserts around the neck, collar bone, sleeves and down the side of the body.
The shirt also features a redesigned club crest showing a tree sitting on top of a crown and the year in which the club was established: 1932. The yellow shirt is paired with black shorts and black socks.

Made by new kit manufacturers Champion using 100% polyester, the kit features a modern design of blue and white in thick vertical stripes and patterns around the neckline and above the shoulders.
The shirt also features a redesigned club crest showing a tree sitting on top of a crown and the year in which the club was established: 1932. Paired with blue shorts and white socks, the 2008-09 Wigan home kit features arguably the most changes of any kit in the English Premier League this season.

London club Fulham FC has unveiled a new away strip to be worn on their travels in the English Premier League in 2008-09.
The new black and red kit is made from Nike FIT performance fabrics and have been designed with a complete layering system to keep players comfortable in a variety of conditions. The design of the shirt features a black collar, a red left sleeve and black right sleeve for an alternate coloured pattern scheme. The shirt is paired with white shorts and red socks.
Like the new home kit, the official Fulham FC site says that feedback from the squad has been extremely positive and they are hoping that the new kit will be a big hit with the supporters.

Newcastle United may have retained their home kit from the 2007-08 season but they have released two great looking change kits for the new season of English football, starting with a purple away kit and now, a grey third kit.
The new third kit is made by Adidas using 100% polyester and features their trademarked APV and ClimaCool technology. Grey in colour, the round neckline is largely finished in white as are the famous three stripes of its manufacturer while other thin white stripes can be found around the underarms and waist sections.
The grey and white theme also extends to the shorts and socks.

Manchester United's new blue kit for the 2008/09 season of the English Premier League has been designed to celebrate 40 years since the Red Devils wore blue in becoming the first English team to win the European Cup.
Manufactured by sportswear giants Nike, the new kit is worthy of that great team and their famous 4-1 win over Benfica at Wembley. The new blue shirt includes a number of details that commemorate the achievement including the embroidery of the words 'May 29th 1968' and '40th Year Anniversary' around the crest on the player's left chest, and an inside back neck shirt detail taken from the 1968 final ticket and shirt crest.
United captain Gary Neville said: "I think it’s fantastic, I like the traditional kits. I think we should wear kits that represent the history of the club and this one certainly does that.

English Premier League side Bolton Wanderers will wear a new yellow away strip for the 2008-09 season of English football.
