English Premier League newbies Hull City AFC has unveiled their first ever Premier League home kit for the upcoming 2008/09 season.


Having ended their 104-year wait for top flight football, the unveiling of the Tigers' new kit was a momentous occasion. Manufactured by Umbro, the shirt features yellow-orange and black stripes to mimic the colours of a tiger and is designed to be both visually imposing and performance enhancing. The shirt is anatomically cut to enhance the athleticism of the player while the twill mesh body fabric is lightweight and breathable and for added comfort, the neckline has no exposed seams.

Hull City AFC ended their 104-year wait for top flight football and will play in the English Premier League in 2008/09 courtesy of a 1-0 victory over Bristol City in the Championship play-off final at Wembley.

The Tigers have unveiled their new away kit for their Premier League debut finished in flint/amber/black. Designed by Umbro to be both visually imposing and performance enhancing, the cutting is anatomic to enhance the athleticism of the player.

Other features include the lightweight fabric which is breathable while the neckline has no exposed seams for added comfort.
