Valencia CF has unveiled a new away kit for the 2008-2009 season which mirrors the design of the new home kit with the only difference being the black colour instead of white.

The shorts are finished in orange instead of black.

Like the home kit, the new away kit is inspired both in the bat and in the futuristic look of the ‘Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias’ and also features the same 'I Liga 1943-1944’ sign around the club crest, the chant ‘Ché qué bo’ on the inside of the collar and the letters ‘VCF’ printed on the front side of the collar.

The Valencia CF home shirt for the 2008-2009 season is inspired both in the bat and in the futuristic look of the ‘Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias’ and finished in the traditional white colour of the club with orange and black inserts. The shorts are finished in black with orange inserts.

The bat will give the players good luck in the club's final season in the current Mestalla stadium, while the sign around the shield that reads: ‘2ª Liga 1943-1944’, is a reference to the second Liga title that the team won that year. The inside of the collar features the chant ‘Ché qué bo’ - a typical chant of the fans to cheer up the team.

Another special feature are the letters ‘VCF’ printed on the front side of the collar. Manufactured by Nike, a 'TEAM' label has been added to the hem in the inferior left part of the shirt to guard against counterfeit kits.

Valencia will wear this fantastic looking kit on their travels this La Liga season 2007-08.

Made using 100% polyester and Nike's Dry Fit material, the deep orange-red shirt features and embroidered Valencia Club Crest and the 1st La Liga logo from 1941-1942.

Spanish club side Valencia FC, fourth place getters in the 2006/07 La Liga, will wear a new home kit for the upcoming season of Spanish football.

The collar will make a return for the new kit which remains white with three red stripes - on the collar, around the shoulder and underarm and around the bottom of the shirt.
