Mourinho was sacked and did not leave by mutual consent

Jose Mourinho

The Sun newspaper in the UK has sensationally revealed that former Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho was SACKED and did not leave by 'mutual consent' despite the club’s insistence yesterday.

A fiery relationship with the club’s Russian owner Roman Abramovich finally came to a head after a poor start to the season and a disappointing 1-1 Champions League draw against Rosenborg on Tuesday.

No doubt his shaky relationship with superstar striker Andriy Shevchenko, a close personal friend of the club owner, played a huge part in the Chelsea hierarchy's decision.

Chelsea have since appointed their director of football Avram Grant as his replacement in the managerial hot-seat.

With three years of a £5million-a-year deal left on his contract, Mourinho can at least laugh all the way to the bank with an estimated £10million pay-off.

How you doing Charles,

I said it, I said it, I said it, didn't I, way before the start of the season, If he doesn't perform, he won't see the season out.

Never heard better knews in my life.

It may my day!

The scorecard reads Rafael 1 - Jose 0.

This will inspire Liverpool to do even better this season to see one of their biggest critics go under.

May I also say it will make Rafael work even harder to get his chargers performing and winning what the owners want, or he will follow Jose next season, but Rafael is a much smarter man than Jose, he knows when to keep his mouth shut.

This will set back Chelsea this season.

Go you Reds!!!

Indeed you did! Who would've thought that Mourinho would be the FIRST manager to get the sack this season though?

You would've made a mint had you laid a bet on Mourinho being the first to go this season!!! Or DID you?! *haha*
