Yep, you read right - Dummy! That is exactly what Chelsea calls their captain. Don't believe me?

Two days out from Chelsea's unveiling of their new away kit for 2007/2008, (click here) I have obtained a picture of what appears to be the new kit in all its glory - so much for the secrecy and hype then!

While no one can confirm whether this is the real deal or not, the little hints here and there on the official Chelsea website does at least confirm that the fluorescent yellow will be the colour of choice for Chelsea away from home.

All will be revealed (officially, at least) on June 14 and available for purchase on June 28.

yuck! what is with the lime green? i hate it how football teams in europe change the look of their uniforms on a yearly basis. what a gross money generating scheme when they bleed fans dry already.

I think it looks more lime green because of the quality of the leaked picture. In the pic of Ballack in the new away strip, it looks more fluorescent yellow.

Yep, it's common for a lot of teams to at least change their away kit once every season. Home kits have a slightly longer life-span and tend to change once every two seasons.

Is the new strip green and black or green and navy do you know??? perhaps they chose these colours to save on floodlighting when playing at home!!!!

what happened to Chelsea being the Blues.

Suppose also, wearing fluorescent colours is the only way there going to stand out this season, unless they're taking the lime light away from Mourinho whinching, is that why he is going to be more mellow this season.

the leak is out.

Hi Susannah,

The new away kit is fluorescent yellow and black.

Andrew: This is their away kit - their home kit is still in the traditional blue
