Scottish Premier League Week Three

In the third weekend of Scottish Premier League action, Dundee United and St. Mirren tie to go joint top of the SPL, with only two fixtures taking place on Saturday. In the 2nd game, a 6-goal thriller was played out in front of the East End Park crowd, in which Inverness CT got their first point of the season at the 3rd attempt.

Dundee defeat Hearts at Tynecastle


In the second weekend of Scottish Premier League action, Motherwell retain top spot, despite failing to win, with four teams sitting joint 1st on 4 points.

With Celtic playing in the Dublin Super Cup, defeating an Airtricity League XI by 5 goals to nil (thanks to 3 goals in the final 6 minutes), Celtic and Dunfermline are the only sides still on 1 game played.

Scottish Premier League kicks off!

Try if you will to picture my delight when I realised when using my Sky Sports Football app, late in the day, that there were Scottish Premier League fixtures.

I checked several times, refreshing the app to ensure that I wasn't picking up future fixtures, that they weren't friendlies etc, and sure enough, the fixtures WERE actual Scottish Premier League fixtures.

So, here, in full, are the results:
