This bright red strip is what Fiorentina will be wearing this season should their purple home kit and white away kit clash with opposition colours in the Serie A this season.

Riding high in 2nd place on the Serie A ladder, the Florence based side will most likely be wearing this red shirt in the UEFA cup European away matches.

Do these away shorts go with the red shirt?

However, what remains unknown is the club's choice of pants for this red shirt. On the Fiorentina website, only the shirt of the third kit is revealed which means that this red shirt could very well be paired with either the home or away shorts.

Fiorentina Away Kit 2007-08

Fiorentina has chosen this smart looking white uniform as their away kit for the 2007-08 season of Italy's Serie A.

All white with two purple patches along both sides of the body, the kit is manufactured by Lotto using 100% polyester and sponsored by Japanese car manufacturer Toyota.

The goalkeeper's away shirt is a largely blue affair with spider-web like patterns across the upper chest and arm areas.

Fiorentina Home Kit 2007-08

Italian Serie A side Fiorentina will wear an all purple home kit for season 2007-08.

The Florence based club who changed their colours from red and white to purple and white in 1928 are known as "i Viola" (the purple ones) by their fans.

The new home kit is manufactured by Lotto using 100% polyester and sponsored by Japanese car manufacturer Toyota.

Inter Milan Centenary Home Kit

Italian giants and reigning Serie A Inter Milan (Internazionale) champions will be celebrating their centenary season with a new home kit for 2007-08.

The new kit, in traditional blue and black stripes, will feature a special centenary "1908 - 2008 100 Anni Inter" logo and is made from 100% polyester incorporating DRI-FIT technology by sportswear giants Nike.

AC Milan keeper Dida receives two-match ban

Dida is stretchered off after being tapped by a fan

AC Milan's play acting 'genius' Dida received a two-match ban from UEFA for his ludicrous theatrics in last week's controversial Champions League match again Scottish side Celtic.

Dida was found to have breached UEFA's 'principles of loyalty, integrity and sportsmanship' for writhing around in feigned agony near the goalmouth when approached by a Celtic supporting pitch-invader who had barely tapped him on/near the collarbone.

Celtic have been fined £25,000, half of which is suspended, for their part in the incident by UEFA.

Celtic has banned the fan from all the club's matches - both home and away - for life.

SS Lazio home kit 2007-08

Italian Serie A side Lazio will wear a white home kit for the current season - a departure from their more traditional colour of light sky blue.

Manufactured by Puma, the kit is made from 100% polyester and features a shadow pattern on the shirt with the club crest on the right and Puma logo on the left.

Juventus Third Kit 2007-08

Twenty-seven times Serie A champions Juventus will sport an all-black third kit for season 07/08 should their traditional white and black stripes home kit and blue away kit clash with the opposition.

This great looking kit is black and features a v-neckline and thin white stripes around the sleeves, neck and waist areas. A shame this was not chosen as the official away kit, but understandable given the colour similarities with the home kit.

Juventus Away Kit 2007-08

Italian giants Juventus will wear blue on their travels this season as they return to the Serie A after a season in the Serie B due to the match fixing scandal that engulfed the club in 2005-06.

The blue kit features a V-neckline with two gold stripes across the chest sandwiching the sponsor's logo.

Following their return to Serie A for season 2007/08, Italian giants Juventus will sport a new home kit complete with new sponsors Fiat Group.

The new kit is manufactured by sportswear giants Nike and is made from 100% polyester with Dri-FIT technology to help keep the players cool when in action.
