Atlético Madrid away kit 2008-09


Atlético Madrid Football Club has released a new dark navy blue away kit for the 2008-09 season.

The new shirt is finished in dark navy blue and red inserts around the collar, bottom of the sleeves and the hemline of the shirt. The shorts and socks are in navy blue. The inside of the collar features the chant ‘Bendita Aficion’ - a typical chant of the Atletico Madrid faithful to cheer up the team.

The kit is made by sportswear giants Nike and features 'DRI-FIT' technology for superior performance in all weather conditions and a 'TEAM' label has been added to the hem in the inferior left part of the shirt for authentication purposes.

Spanish La Liga side Atlético Madrid has released a new home kit for the 2008-09 season.

The 'Indios' new shirt is finished in the traditional red and white colours of the club and features a V-neck collar with four red stripes and three white stripes down the body of the shirt. This theme extends to the sleeves where the hem is finished in blue.

Valencia CF has unveiled a new away kit for the 2008-2009 season which mirrors the design of the new home kit with the only difference being the black colour instead of white.

The shorts are finished in orange instead of black.

Like the home kit, the new away kit is inspired both in the bat and in the futuristic look of the ‘Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias’ and also features the same 'I Liga 1943-1944’ sign around the club crest, the chant ‘Ché qué bo’ on the inside of the collar and the letters ‘VCF’ printed on the front side of the collar.
