A forum about football, for football fans
Leeds United midfielder Neil Kilkenny has joined Bristol City on a three-year deal. After Kilkenny's contract expired at the end of last season, a new offer was turned down following report of interest from other Championship clubs.

Keith Millen, Bristol City manager, sold the club to Kilkenny, he told BBC Radio Bristol- "The way he spoke about the club, about the game and about me - he made my mind up. He described where the club wants to go and it fitted with my ambition, so that was the reason I joined."

The Australia international, 25, left Birmingham City for Leeds in January 2008 for £150,000

Millen said: "There aren't many creative midfielders available so the search has been difficult. The top players cost a lot of money but we've been fortunate in getting him in on a free transfer."
